Things To Consider Before Buying An Acoustic Guitar
A guitar is a musical instrument. It is played by strumming or plucking its strings in order to make sounds. The sound of the guitar can be sweet and gentle (e.g., “Yesterday” by The Beatles), or it can be hard and aggressive, as with punk rock music from artists such as Johnny Ramone from the 1970s group called The Ramones), but most often it will have a mixture of both sweet and hard sounds in each song.
There are acoustic guitars that look just like an electric guitar, except they do not need electricity to work, so you don’t need an amplifier for them to produce sound. Acoustic guitars normally have six strings on them, though there are some models with 12 strings.
Some of the most popular acoustic guitars are strung with steel strings, which are not as soft as nylon strings. Acoustic guitars typically come in 3 main styles: dreadnought, jumbo, and grand concert. Here are some guidelines to consider when choosing a guitar that is best suited for you.
The Type Of Guitar (Acoustic Or Electric)
Acoustic guitars typically come in three popular styles: dreadnought, jumbo, and concert, while electric guitars are modeled after an electric guitar. Acoustic guitars typically have six strings, while electric guitars have three or six strings.
The Size Of The Body
The body’s soundboard is what gives an acoustic guitar its unique tone. A bigger body produces a richer tone because more air can resonate with the string to produce a fuller sound. That said, bigger bodies are not always better because it can be harder to hold and play the guitar. Smaller guitars may take some getting used to but they are often more comfortable for long practice sessions.
The Number Of Strings
Acoustic stringed instruments typically have six strings; however, there are models that come with 12 strings. If you are newbie just beginning learning to play guitar, instead of 12 strings, you should start with six-string guitars, that will be easier for you to play.
How The Guitar Is Made
Handmade guitars are crafted by experienced artisans with a keen eye for detail and quality, while factory-made guitars are mass produced in large assembly line factories, thus sacrificing some of the craftsmanship found in handmade models; however, this may not be an issue if you’re simply looking for a beginner instrument for casual playing.
The Type Of Wood Used In The Construction
Guitars are generally made from different types of wood, such as mahogany, spruce or cedar. Just like wine, guitars can improve with age. Thus, guitars made from softer woods may be more suited to beginners who need plenty of time to practice before they can play well.

The Epiphone PRO-1 is a professional quality instrument for the working musician. The solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides produce a warm, clear tone that can compete with any acoustic guitar on stage or in the studio. With its all-mahogany construction, it’s also up to twice as loud as most acoustics when played at the same volume setting.
The Epiphone PRO-1 is a great instrument with amazing features and at a very low price. It’s also an ideal instrument for beginners and professionals alike. With its all-mahogany construction it can be used in any setting without fear of feedback. Features & Benefits
Epiphone Pro 1 is an acoustic guitar with a good sound. It has many features that are not found on most other guitars in this price range. This makes it easy to control the sound of the guitar for beginners who don’t know how to use an amp properly yet.
Mahogany Wood Body
The Epiphone Pro 1 comes with a mahogany wood body. Mahogany wood is a type of wood that has been used in many guitars due to its lightweight and durability. Many musicians prefer this type of wood when they’re playing gigs because it can withstand much more than other types of wood and still sound great.
Epiphone Pro 1 is a guitar with a two-way truss rod.
What does this mean? Well, it means the neck is going to be stable and not have any warping over time. This will also help you achieve an even tension across all strings for better tuning stability and more sustain.
What’s more, the Epiphone Pro 1 has been designed with an asymmetrical neck profile that provides higher string action on the treble side of the fretboard, where most players need it for fast playing styles like lead work or intricate picking patterns.
The recessed fingerboard features 20 medium jumbo frets, which are nicely crowned and polished to ensure they’ll last as long as your instrument itself (if not longer) for a great feel under your fingers.
Including Grover® 18:1 Ratio Machine Heads
Epiphone Pro 1 is one of the latest additions to the Epiphone family. It’s a professional quality instrument. And it has one feature that sets it apart from all other guitars in this price range: Grover 18:1 machine heads with a ratio of 18:1, meaning they turn 18 times per revolution of the tuning key.
These machine heads feel silky smooth and spin freely on their metal posts, which means they won’t wear out as quickly as most guitar tuners do. That’s because these tuners are designed for professionals who use them every day in recording studios or on stage with major acts! You’ll be able to tune your guitar more accurately, too, thanks to the wider string slots and notches on these machine heads. They also make string changes much faster than those ordinary machines.
Of course, Grover tuners are now the industry standard for electric guitars and basses, as well as banjos and mandolins. These 18:1 ratio machine heads will give your Epiphone Pro 1 a look that’s distinctive and stylish while giving you peace of mind knowing that your guitar will stay in tune longer.
The Epiphone Pro 1 comes with many extras that are not found on most other guitars of the same price. Some of these include an Accessory Steel Kit and an instrument cable. These can come in handy when you’re just starting out because you will need them to play at gigs or perform for others.

Fender FA-115 Dreadnought
- All-Inclusive Steel-String Acoustic Guitar Pack
- Dreadnought Style Mahogany Body with Spruce Top
- Nato Neck with Gloss Urethane Finish; 20-Fret Walnut Fingerboard and Dot Inlays
- Walnut Bridge and Chrome Tuners
- Includes Gig Bag Strap, Picks, New Pack of Strings, and 90-Day Fender Play Subscription
A fender FA-115 Dreadnought is an acoustic guitar that has a mahogany body with a spruce top. This is very important for the tone of the instrument as it will be able to project sound better than if it was made of something else. The neck is made of Nato wood and has a gloss urethane finish, so it will be easier to grip. It has 20 frets with Walnut bridge. It also has chrome tuners on the neck, so the strings stay in tune for longer than on guitars with other types of bridge materials.
The Fender FA-115 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar has all the features that a beginner needs and is very versatile as can be used by someone who needs an acoustic with a crisp and sharp sound and tone but also at the same time be used by an advanced player because it can give out a full warm sound if needed. It has good playability due to the fact that it is easy to move around your hand on it because of its thin neck, which means you can do solos easily.
The tonality of the instrument will not let you down because it makes use of these materials: mahogany, spruce, Nato wood, gloss urethane, and Walnut bridge. These materials are all important on how a guitar will sound, so they have been used effectively on the Fender FA-115 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar to give out a resonating sound across the fretboard. So, you can play your favorite songs without having to learn new techniques first.
One of the good things about this instrument is that it comes with an accompanying pack that contains a gig bag which is very lightweight but also durable enough to protect your guitar from any impact damage or scratches when you carry it around. It also comes with a strap made of nylon material for easy carrying, picks which are very small and thin compared to other types of picks available.
The sound clarity is very good, and the weight of the guitar is light which makes it easy to carry around. This guitar comes with a 90-day subscription which allows players to try various music lessons, including chord progressions, music sheets, and more.
This last feature makes the instrument more complete than, for example, if it was given out as a gift with no strings attached because instead of just giving someone an instrument to play on, they are also able to learn new techniques without having to pay extra money for lessons.
One negative aspect about this type of guitar is that the top material (spruce) might not be good enough for some players. Because if certain conditions are met, like humidity or temperature changes, then their sound will diminish or change completely. That means there is always the possibility that the sound might not be very good. If this happens, you have to send the instrument back to where you bought it, and they will give you a new one as long as there is no damage done on the body of the guitar.
- It comes with a 90-day subscription to trial lessons
- Good for beginner players due to thin neck
- It can be used by advanced players as well

This is a really good beginner guitar. The sound is actually much better than I was expecting it to be. The guitar is good for someone who needs a loud sound to play with or for someone who is playing the deep sounds from the lower register, which I’m guessing would be hard to get out of a smaller-bodied guitar.
The finish on it is nice, and the pickups sound pretty good for what you pay for it. The strap buttons are really solid and strong feeling. The case is a really good fit. It is not too tight, and it doesn’t have to give all over the place, which is a problem I’ve seen with other cases where they are too tight, or the fabric material will bunch up as you close it.
This guitar has a really nice glossy finish that makes it really stand out against other guitars. Overall I recommend anyone looking for a good quality acoustic guitar for a reasonable price to purchase this one.
