Each effect has its own parameters for tweaking tone and feel which means you can get virtually any sound imaginable out of this unit. You can also save up to five of your own custom effect layouts and recall them instantly using dedicated front panel foot switches.
Benefits Of Boss GT 100
Many guitar players are looking for new ways to increase the sound of their guitars. Boss Amp Effects Processor (GT-100) is a great way to do this, as it provides many different options for tone shaping. It also offers some features that are not available on other processors, such as the ability to create custom amp simulations with up to four simultaneous effects and parameters which can be controlled by an external MIDI device or computer application. The GT-100 has been designed with these higher level needs in mind and offers more power than any other processor at its price point.
Boss is a classic company in the world of music, and their latest innovation will make you rethink what it means to be a musician. The GT-100 Boss Amp Effects Processor is designed for guitarists, but don’t let that fool you: this machine can do wonders for any instrument. With its 100 on-board effects and amp models from around the world, this processor lets musicians explore new musical territory without having to lug equipment around or find someone with a spare sound system. It also has an onboard tuner! So why not get one today?
Boss’ GT-100 is a guitar effects processor that captures the sound of your electric guitar and sends it through a series of digital signal processors. The results can be heard immediately, as you play your instrument with the effect turned on. It offers 100 different effects algorithms from which to choose, including everything from amps and cabinets to modulation effects such as flanging or phasing.
You have control over every detail of the sound, including its volume level; you can even set up two separate amp/cabinet simulations for left and right hands (or any other stereo setup) so that each hand gets an individualized tone–perfect for creating layered sounds like those used in synth-heavy progressive rock bands like Rush.
One hundred different types of effects. The Boss GT-100 is a guitar effects processor with 100 different types of prerecorded effect types, which you can access and apply to your sound through its user interface.
You can connect the unit to your computer via USB and use it as a foot controller for playing and setting up those effects; there’s also an editor/librarian software you can download so that you can use your computer to edit and store those effects instead of the GT-100. This unit is a very good choice for performing musicians who need to bring their own sound with them on stage, as it’s compact and easy to carry around.
The Boss GT-100 provides high quality sounds. Each of the GT-100’s 100 effect types has been designed to provide a high quality sound, and if you want to get even more specific, there are also four on-board effects that allow you to control some finer details about your tone. For example, one is called “edit” and this allows you to adjust the tone of your sound by itself, which you can then save as a user preset.
Another effect is called “low boost” and it gives you control over how many dBs are added to the low end. Another, called “character” allows you to adjust the high-end frequency response, while another simply called “dynamic” will compress your sound level according to the force of your playing, which is a great way to get a more natural and dynamic-sounding result.
The Boss GT-100 is an extremely flexible product with lots of different options. This unit was designed for musicians who frequently play in changing situations where they need to adjust their own sound on the fly to ensure that they can maximize their musical impact. Since it provides so many options, you’ll want to spend some time getting familiar with what each parameter does so that you can achieve the sounds you want.
Factors To Consider Before Buying Boss GT 100
Boss GT 100 is a high-end guitar effects processor that is loaded with great features. It has 16 amp models, 12 speaker cabinets, and 4 microphone types. With Boss Amp Effects Processor (GT-100) you can also create your own patches with the built in editor. There are many factors to consider when choosing an amplifier but these are some of the most important ones: Price, Amp Models, Speaker Cabinets, Mic Types, Editing Capabilities and Customization Options.
The price range for Boss GT 100 ranges from $499 to $799 which is more expensive than most amps on the market at this time. However they do offer financing options so it may be worth looking into if you want to buy it straight away.
The GT-100 has sixteen different amp models to choose from . These have been created by using BOSS’s COSM technology which allowed them to recreate the sound of some of the most famous guitar amps. However they have gone a step further and have included their own custom amps in there as well so you know that the sounds are going to suit your style.
This effects processor has twelve speaker cabinets built in which means you can get every kind of sound from bedroom quiet to fully cranked. You can choose between different speaker characteristics that were modelled on real cabinets and also use the stereo speakers for an even wider sound range.
Boss GT 100 has four microphone types built in which is useful if you like recording direct using miking. They include Dynamic, Condenser, Ribbon and Unidyne microphone types which are all very useful for getting different sounds.
The GT-100 allows you to get really creative by allowing you to edit your already created patches. For example if you have created a patch but want it set up for another song style, you can easily change the EQ settings or reverb size etc, to suit your needs.
This sounds processor allows you to easily customize all of the buttons and knobs so that they can be organized in an easy way for you. It also includes a footswitch which makes it even easier when using live .
Your music style
This is particularly important to take into consideration because if you’re buying this just for playing solos then it will be a waste of money if you already have an amp that creates good tones for soloing. If you want to play metal guitar with fast shredding techniques, you might want to consider buying this product. This is because it has built in effects that can create amp models for metal music styles. Also, if you are looking to play heavy metal or rock guitar with a lot of distortion sound then this Boss GT-100 will definitely satisfy your needs.
How often are you going to use the product
If your guitar playing style involves a lot of live shows then you might want to invest in this product because it will definitely make your guitar sound better. However, if you are just starting out or don’t play guitar that much then I would recommend getting an amplifier with built-in effects because the GT-100 sounds great even through headphones but when through speakers it stills sounds pretty good.
If you’re not planning to use any effect pedals then I wouldn’t recommend this product because it is very expensive and doesn’t have built-in effects that can replace pedals.

The BOSS GT-100 is an amp effects processor loaded with high quality sound and equipment modeling. The editing interface of the unit is easy to learn especially for guitarists who are new to using digital processors. Guitar players will enjoy playing around with the many stomp box emulations they can play, each providing a unique pedal feel that emulates analog circuits or specific pieces of gear.
The functions in this model allow you to calibrate pedals, reverbs, delays and other effects even if they’re connected separately from your signal chain which means adding extra fx’s is easier than ever before! Plus when performing live it features built-in editing on the fly controls meaning your settings change without having to turn off power or stop playing mid-song.
The BOSS GT-100 is probably one of the most complicated pedal effects processors on the market. It comes with an easy to learn interface though and new guitar players shouldn’t have any trouble figuring out how it works. If you’re familiar with digital editing on a computer this is going to be no different so if you’ve never tried a pedal effects processor before this is probably the best one to start with.
This unit does not have a built in speaker but can connect to either a compact external speaker or your amp and is compatible with all amps on the market today. It also has a headphone out that makes practicing in silence easy and convenient. You can run up to five stompbox models through it on top of the built-in effects and features like noise reduction.

The BOSS Pocket GT Patch Effects Processor is an amazing effects for guitar players. It doesn’t take up much physical space like most effect pedals, but it still has the ability to be efficient and powerful. I
Its interface is easy enough to understand, but the manual would have been a great help at first! One thing that may bother some people is the sound quality when you use it in a live setting though, so keep your gear close by if you want a solid mix on stage! This small handheld processor does exactly what its supposed to do every time and holds a ton of different features!
I’m not sure there are enough words or letters to express how much I love this pedal. To know that it only takes one effect at a time is so feasible, because now all of my favorite effects are accessible. The Boss has done tricks with the EQs and they have an editing screen for easier managing. That being said, if you find what you want out of your particular boss guitar amp then crank the dial!
Enjoying these pedals over any other plugins that may interface with it because there’s really no need for anything more than something like GearBox (it cures ‘gear lust’). With two browser tabs up on Youtube playing through the presets made by BOSS especially for their product; dialing in sounds can’t get any easier than this. Good sounds to have at your fingertips, don’t even have to think about saving anything or going through a long list of presets.
The Boss GT Pocket is a small, super-portable guitar amp. That’s tiny so it can be carried around on the go and packs some serious features for recording or performances on-the-go. It weighs less than 4lbs so you can carry it with ease to wherever your destination may be. The power requirements are 24 hours on American 120 volt outlets though there is an AC Power Adaptor that can be purchased for this model if you’re outside of the US .
– The sound quality might not be as good when used outside of a studio setting
– The pedal doesn’t take up much physical space
A Boss GT-100 is the perfect way to get started with guitar effects. It’s an ideal solution for beginners who want a small pedalboard that can cover all their bases, or intermediate players who need more options than what they have on offer at their local music store. Plus, it makes sense as a secondary board when you play in different bands and don’t want to carry the same pedals around every night. If this sounds like your situation, then take some time out of your day to consider one of these amazing products!
